Our mission of "Supporting The Taylor House, Inc." is to help transition aged former foster girls by offering affordable rents, teaching life skills, setting career and education goals in our beautiful home in downtown Roseville.
Our goal is to bridge the transition to adulthood by empowering residents to become well rounded, self sufficient and confident individuals.
The residents will first complete all fundamental criteria for basic living and then continue to maintain the discipline and habits needed to step out on their own.
Our staff, board members and volunteers continually strive to deliver the best possible experience and direction to make their stay and transition successful.
The Taylor Way
1. Be self- aware
We have created a tier program to keep the girls on track and focused.
They have the ability to graduate from each tier starting from the "Grace Period" transitioning to the "Junior Resident" and then graduating to "Senior Resident". The girls have weekly one on one catch up's with the Program Director and then weekly family meetings with their roommates and the Program Director. We create fun leadership building events, volunteers meet with one of the girls and create a friendship and bond that really makes a difference.
