Cathy started volunteering at the Taylor House in 2018 after following Taylor House on Facebook for years and finally reaching out to Lisa Peat. She started as our small events coordinator and has organized a fundraising garden party, birthdays, graduations and our college apartment celebration. She updates the house entry table every month with seasonal décor and uplifting messages. In early 2020 she helped refurnish and update the bedrooms in the main house – buying, hauling, and assembling furniture and purchasing accessories to make the rooms cute and comfortable for the residents. She’s also quick with her bag of tools, solutions, and her label maker. She takes great pleasure in showing the girls how to fix things and how to use basic tools.
Cathy has lived in Placer County for 21 years and enjoys walking to Folsom Lake, gardening, home projects, crafting, and learning new skills!

Jamie Hazen

Volunteer

Jamie Hazen is the owner of Jamie Hazen Consulting. She has
been active in the Roseville community for decades and serves on the board for the Roseville Police Activities League, Downtown Roseville Partnership, Downtown Roseville Merchants, Performing Arts of Roseville and Placer Visitors Bureau. 


"I can't remember the first time I heard about The Taylor House, I just knew I wanted to get involved. I sent an email stating I wanted to volunteer as COVID was winding down. I love watching the gals at The Taylor House soar and become successful, they are all so special and work very hard."
